Kimball\u2019s dreams and goals of becoming an Administrator for a long-term and assisted living facility led her back home. She spent her childhood growing up in Nazareth, Texas, and now can continue her passion for caring for the elderly while getting to care for them in her own community.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy aspiration with County View Living is that is will always feel like you are welcomed into someone\u2019s home as you walk through the door, and visitors enjoy every minute of the time they spend with their loved one,\u201d said Kimball. \u201cMy goal is to take care of your loved one like my own family and take your stress away so that your time can be spent enjoying the company of your loved one, because that time is precious.\u201d<\/p>\n
At the beginning of October, Kimball hit the ground running, beginning the search for her team with the Country View Living Job Fair on October 4.\u00a0 She believes that the number of jobs that the facility will create will impact the Castro County community tremendously. Allowing the residents of this county to work closer to home and not have to travel to find employment.<\/p>\n
Long-term living is nothing new to Kimball, with eight years of experience in long-term care and an additional six years\u2019 experience in a medical office. Prior to being hired at Country View Living, Kimball was the Administrator at Plainview Healthcare Center for about two years. Her involvement in healthcare began as a social services director at Trust Care Management in Louisiana. She held that position for three years, then upon completing her Administrator training she led the facility in Rospine, LA. After three years there, her husband retired from the military and they moved their family back home.<\/p>\n
In her spare time, Kimball stays busy keeping up with her three sons and their activities. She also finds time to volunteer with Bikers Against Child Abuse that helps support abused kids.<\/p>\n
